York House Leather Trunk
This leather steamer trunk was retailed by York House, of Regent Street, London, otherwise know as The Junior Army and Navy Store. The leather catch cover is embossed with an indistinct monogram which also appears to be J.A.N.

Condition: The leather is well coloured from travel, but the condition is very good, handles and straps in good order, it is lacking a pair of straps round the exterior, the brass catch is operational although stiff, internally the linen is stained, paper label of York House inside the lid
